How we started
From humble beginnings to creating a successful landscape company, Victor Guzman has had to overcome major challenges in his life to fulfill his American Dream. Born in Honduras in 1972, life was challenging and full of hardship. Victor’s ultimate dream as a young man was to improve his life for himself and his family. Victor knew he needed to make the ultimate sacrifice… leave his family and come to the United States of America. With only the clothes on his back, he made the arduous journey.
In 1996 he arrived in the United States and in 2008 he obtained permanent residence status. The vision Victor had as a young man finally came to fruition when he started Guzman Lawn Care and Landscaping, LLC in 2012. He started his company with only a borrowed lawn mower, and today the company has grown exponentially. His dedication, vision, and determination have helped his company become a leader in the industry.

In June 2019 Victor renamed his company Oak Ridge Landscaping and Construction, LLC. Along with a new name, Jeff Ketchum join Oak Ridge as Vice President, bringing 35 years of experience to the table. The companies goal has remained the same – to ‘Exceed Client’s Expectations’. Without our clients we would not have a business, so it is with this goal in mind that all of our decisions are made.
